They are persistently not adequately represented in the affairs of the State. This work aims to find out the reason for the low level of Muslims\u2018 involvement in the State administration and performance of their secondary schools to enable their children to acquire educational qualifications for public service. The research method adopted is historical and analytical. The historical method is adopted to look into past events that shaped the contemporary situation of Muslims in the State while the analytical method is for examining the implications of the current situation. To this end, data are collected from the Secondary Schools established by Ekiti Muslims about six decades ago to equip their children for public service. This is to establish the extent to which the Schools have achieved the aim. Among the findings is the fact that the Schools are dominated by non-Muslims in terms of both management and staff strength with the effect that Muslims have little or no say in running them. In the light of this, the Schools cannot maximally perform to address the challenge of inadequate educational qualifications of Muslim children into the public service. To round off, it is recommended that special attention should be paid to create awareness among both indigenous and immigrant Muslims with respect to importance of education as a means to achieve political representation. To that effect, concerted efforts should be made to ensure that Muslim teachers are posted to the Schools especially at the management level and establishing private Muslim schools to give Muslim children motivation and a sense of belonging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pdf-viewer-block-standard\" style=\"text-align:left\"><div class=\"uploaded-pdf\"><a
